Coffee = Love!

Good morning everybody!

This is going to be a short and sweet little post, but I wanted to share a new recipe with you guys! :) I've been having this for the last 3 mornings, and I have to say it is better than Starbucks! Have an idea of what it is yet? Judging by the title of this post, I think you might already have a small hint. hehe

It's a...Cinnamon Caramel Iced Latte! If you like Starbucks' Cinnamon Dolce Latte, you'll love this!

Cinnamon Caramel Iced Latte (Sugar & Soy Free!)
Makes one serving

Ingredients:
  • Ground coffee beans (I use Folger's Classic)
  • Ground Cinnamon
  • Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk (or any milk of your choice)
  • Sugar Free Caramel Coffee Syrup
  • Ice Cubes
Directions:
  1. Brew double strength coffee with cinnamon added to the grounds. I used 2 heaping tablespoons of ground coffee and 1.5 teaspoons of ground cinnamon with 1/2 cup of filtered water. This makes enough for one serving, about 1/3 cup of coffee. :)
  2. In your favorite cup, then add 2 chugs of caramel syrup (about 2 tablespoons) and 1 cup of milk.
  3. Add ice and pour your double strength coffee over top.
  4. Stir it up and enjoy!
If you used unsweetened almond milk, this yummy treat only has 40 calories!!  Talk about a calorie bargain! :)

I actually think my version is much better than Starbucks', but that's just me. :) I will have to buy some of their syrup and test it out! hehe By the way, their syrups are super cheaper, compared to their coffee. I believe they sell them for only $8-$9 for a 1 liter! Crazy, right? I know every time I treat myself to a drink, it's at least $5. I also scored this brand new fancy schmancy Starbucks tumbler at a thrift store for $5! I wish I would have found it sooner though, because the cashier told me they were originally priced for 75 cents, until someone told them they were expensive. :( Oh well! Still a great deal. :)

Anyways, I need to go start on my exercise. :)

I hope everyone has an awesome Sunday!

What is your favorite type of coffee drink?
